The Ryukyu Shito Ryu Karate style is led globally by our respected Grandmaster and World Chief, Soke Keibun Oura (10th Dan Black Belt) from Okinawa, Japan. He is known worldwide as one of the strongest and most experienced karate masters, with decades of dedication to preserving and teaching traditional karate at the highest level. His guidance ensures that students learn authentic techniques, correct discipline, and true martial arts values. Soke Keibun Oura
Grandmaster and World Chief

Soke Keibun oura Born on October 8, 1949, on Yonaguni Island, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. with rank 10th Dan, Black Belt. He began training in Karate at the age of 15 during his high school years in Okinawa. Later, he continued his training at the University of Toyo, where he became the captain of the university team and a national karate champion. Competitor: Soke Oura Keibun served as Team Captain and National University Champion in Team Kumite in 1973 at Toyo University, Tokyo. In the same year, he received awards as Best Competitor and Best Team Captain of the university. He later became a direct disciple (Uchi Deshi) of Sensei Iwata Manzo. Arrival in Mexico: On February 7, 1974, he arrived in Mexico City at the request of the Mexican Karate Federation. Between 1975 and 1982, he was a karate instructor at UPIICSA of the National Polytechnic Institute, the Military College, and La Salle University, among others. From 1980 to 1985, he coached the National Karate Team. Return to Japan: On May 27, 1987, he returned to Okinawa, where he has held various positions: President of the Board of Directors of the Naha City Karate Do Association, the Okinawa Karate and Kobudo Federation, and the Naha Uchina-Di Association; Advisor to the Okinawa Prefectural Kobudo Federation; and representative of the Mexican Karate Federation in Okinawa, among many other roles.

Shihan Dr. Adhithyan Anil born on 7 February in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India Shihan Dr. Adhithyan Anil is a distinguished karate exponent, coach, referee, and international administrator from Kerala, India. He is widely recognized for his exceptional contributions to karate at state, national, Asian, and global levels. He currently serves as the Chief Instructor and Technical Director – Asia and is an official Coach of the World Karate Federation (WKF). He is also the youngest WKF Coach in Kerala under the Karate India Organisation (KIO), marking a historic achievement in Indian karate. Dr. Adhithyan Anil holds key leadership positions in major karate bodies. He is a Commission Member of karate India organisation & Commission Chairman of the Karate Kerala Association and serves as the President of the Asian Ryukyu Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Federation as well as Shoshin Kai Kobudo International. An accomplished official, he is a National Federation “A” Grade Referee, trusted for officiating at high-level competitions. His excellence is further reflected in his record-breaking achievements, holding 12 World Records and 2 Asian Records, bringing international recognition to Indian karate. Dr. Adhithyan Anil began his karate journey at the age of 8 in Thiruvananthapuram. His talent and dedication were evident early, as he achieved his Black Belt at just 13 years of age. Since then, he has dedicated his life to the promotion, teaching, and global development of karate and traditional martial arts.
